Athrips pruinosella is a moth of the Gelechiidae family. It is found in western and northern Europe.[1][2] It has also been recorded from North America.[3]

The wingspan is 12–16 mm. Adults are on wing from the end of May to the beginning of August.[4]

The larvae feed on Salix repens, Vaccinium uliginosum,[5] Spiraea salicifolia, Andromeda polifolia and Vaccinium myrtillus.
