Atalar (former Deliminnet) is a town in Tarsus district of Mersin Province, Turkey. It is situated in Çukurova plains at about 36°51′N 34°51′E / 36.850°N 34.850°E. It is 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) west of Yeşiltepe (another town). Distance to Tarsus is 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) and to Mersin is 24 kilometres (15 mi). The population is 1792 [1] as of 2011.
