Astro SuperSport is an in-house satellite television network in Malaysia dedicated to broadcasting sports-related content 24 hours a day. It is available on the Astro platform via Channels 810 & 831 (HD) to subscribers of the "sports" package only.[1] Launched in 1996 as one of Astro's original channels, Astro SuperSport offers a variety of international sporting events such as football, badminton, motorsport, rugby, volleyball and golf.[2] Astro also operates two sister channels, Astro SuperSport 2 and Astro SuperSport 3 on channels 811 & 833 (HD) and 816 & 834 (HD) respectively, along with a high definition simulcast of Astro SuperSport (Astro SuperSport HD via Channel 831).

Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) has sealed an agreement with Astro Malaysia Holdings Berhad to air Astro SuperSport HD and Astro SuperSport 2 HD on UniFi's HyppTV for three years. The sports content to be aired on these channels include some Barclays Premier League (BPL) matches.[3]

When there is an international sporting competition, additional channels with live coverage of special tournaments will be available for the duration of the event.

Astro SuperSport leads the way in HD broadcasting in South East Asia on channel 831. The network has been broadcasting studio shows around major football in HD like the Premier League and FIFA World Cup since 2010 and magazine shows like FourFourTwo since 2011.

Astro SuperSport 2 is the first sister channel of Astro SuperSport. Launched on 18 November 2009, it is broadcast on Astro via Channel 811 and in high-definition Channel 833. Sporting events that are aired on this network events include the BWF Super Series, the ATP World Tour Finals, the J-League, the Bundesliga, the Ligue 1 as well as German competitions like 24 Hours of Nürburgring as well as American competitions like NFL and NHL as well as Mexican competitions like Copa MX.
