Association of International Olympic Winter Sports Federations
The Association of International Olympic Winter Sports Federations (AIOWF) is an association of winter sports federations recognized by the International Olympic Committee that compete in the Olympic Winter Games.
Its president is René Fasel of the International Ice Hockey Federation and is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland.
Member federations
There are 7 sport federations members of AIOWSF.[1]
- International Biathlon Union (IBU) - biathlon
- International Bobsleigh and Tobogganing Federation (FIBT) - bobsleigh and skeleton (sport)
- World Curling Federation (WCF) - curling
- International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) - ice hockey
- International Luge Federation (FIL) - luge
- International Skating Union (ISU) - figure skating, short track speed skating, speed skating.
- International Ski Federation (FIS) - alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, freestyle skiing (aerials, moguls), Nordic combined, ski jumping, snowboarding.
