Asia United Bank

Asia United Bank (AUB) is a commercial bank located at Parc Royale Condominium, Doña Julia Vargas Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig.^[1] They recently transferred to the recently finished Joy-Nostalg Center at 17 ADB Avenue corner Topaz Street, still in Ortigas.^[2]

On September 25, 1997, the Monetary Board of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas granted the bank the licenses to operate as a commercial bank. The operations commenced on October 31, 1997.

AUB was formed by Filipino industrialists and Taiwanese banks, namely: Republic Biscuit Corporation, Lambda Holdings, China United Trust & Investment Corporation, China Development Industrial Bank, Magis Equity Ventures, and a few individuals.^[3]
