The Ashworth and Jones Factory is a historic building at 1511 Main Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. It is one of the architecturally finest mid 19th century factory buildings in the city. Located at a site used for industrial purposes since early in the 19th century, it was built in 1870 for Thomas Ashworth and Edward Jones, who began woolen textile operations on the site in 1861. The site underwent a number of expansions between the 1880s and 1910s. The main factory consists of a three story brick building, which windows set in recessed corbelled wall panels. There is a clock tower on one corner that is topped by a mansard roof.[2]
The factory was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.[1]
