Ashley Carter (born 12 September 1995) is an English footballer who plays as a central defender. He is currently on loan at Chesterfield from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Career
Carter signed his first professional contract with Wolves in 2014.[2] He joined League One side Chesterfield on a month-long youth loan on 2 February 2015.[3]
While on loan, the defender made his senior debut on 17 February 2015 in a 0–2 defeat to Scunthorpe.[4]
