Ashgabat Flagpole

The Ashgabat Flagpole is the fourth tallest free-standing flagpole in the world, at 133 metres (436 feet) tall. It is located in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, and was erected on 26 June 2008. It has since been surpassed in height by the 160 m (525 ft) Panmunjeom flagpole in Kijŏng-dong, North Korea, the National Flagpole in Azerbaijan, and the 165 m (541 ft) Dushanbe Flagpole, which is the world's second tallest as of 2015.
