Ashani (also known as IOF .32 pistol) is a semi-automatic .32 calibre (7.65 mm) pistol designed and manufactured by the Gun and Shell Factory, Kolkata Indian Ordnance Factory in India. This is a hammer (concealed within the slide) fired pistol. This is designed for concealed carry and so perfect for civilian use. It has 8 shot capacity with an effective range of 18.27 meters.[1]
Though externally similar to the Browning 1910, its internal mechanism is based on the Colt 1903.
