Asghar Sharafi (Persian: اصغر شرفی, born 22 December 1942 in Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian football coach and former player who was head coach of Mes Sarcheshmeh. He has coached in many teams like Esteghlal, Iranjavan, Bargh Shiraz, Pegah and Ekbatan. He is one of the oldest head coaches in the Iranian football history.

Playing career

Club

He began his football at Shahin and joined to the Taj.Then he joined to PAS Tehran in 1964 and was teammate with Ranjbar, Habibi and Mahmoud Yavari. He was retired and left PAS in 1973.[1]
