As Summers Die is a 1986 drama film directed by Jean-Claude Tramont. It was filmed in Georgia as a made for HBO original movie and later released on VHS.[1]
It stars Scott Glenn, Jamie Lee Curtis, Bette Davis and Beah Richards. The film is loosely based on Winston Groom's 1980 novel of the same name and set in 1950's segregationist southern Louisiana.[2]
