Arun Paudwal (died 1 November 1991) was a famous music composer in Bollywood in India. He was married to Anuradha Paudwal, a well known singer from Bollywood. He worked with music director S. D. Burman for some time.

Introduction

Arun Paudwal (Nepali: अरूण पौडवाल) was Nepalese Brahmin caste versatile, popular and legendary musician in India. He composed music for several movies including Marathi and Hindi Films. He has in family well known singer wife Anuradha Paudwal, new age singer daughter Kavita Paudwal. In his career he has tried lot of expriments in music. Needless to say that, Arun had composed a song "Ashwini Ye Na" for a Marathi Film (Gammat Jammat) in 1987 and for the first time Hindi Superstar Singer Kishore Kumar has sung a duet along with Anuradha Paudwal for him. He has composed superhit songs of Meera Ka Mohan (1992); the film was superhit because of its melodius music, but he was no more to see this success. Arun Paudwal died on Nov 1, 1991.

Music career as Duo

In earlier years, he composed music with Anil Mohile as a duo 'Anil-Arun'. The duo were music assistants(arrangers) under Sachinda (S. D. Burman [Sachin Dev Burman]) who was father of Rahul Dev Burman (R. D. Burman). Apparently they had assisted the composer along with S. D. Burman's wife Meera Dev. Apart from this, they have worked individually and also jointly as composers and assistants for many movies.
