Arthur baronets
There have been two baronetcies created for persons with the surname Arthur, both in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom. As of 2014 both creations are extant.
The Arthur Baronetcy, of Upper Canada, was created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom on 5 June 1841[1] for the soldier and colonial administrator Sir George Arthur. The fifth Baronet was Speaker of the New Zealand House of Representatives between 1984 and 1985. As of 31 December 2013, the present holder of the baronetcy has not successfully proven his succession to the baronetcy and is therefore not on the Official Roll of the Baronetage. However, the case is under review by the Registrar of the Baronetage.[2]
The Arthur Baronetcy, of Carlung in the County of Ayr, was created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom on 10 January 1903. For more information on this creation, see Baron Glenarthur.

The heir presumptive is the present holder's second cousin twice-removed Sir Gavyn Farr Arthur (b.1951), judge and former Lord Mayor of London.
