Arta Muja is an Austrian-German model who was appointed as Miss Earth Germany 2014[1][2] that gives her the right to represent Germany at Miss Earth 2014. She is the first delegate from Germany under a new team.
Biography
Early life and career beginnings
Arta was born in Kosovo, where her family originally from. However, she grew up in Germany. She describes herself as, "...been spontaneous, a bit crazy and simply love excitement and change!"
Pageantry
Miss Earth Germany
Sina Schmid, the national director of Miss Earth for Austria, acquired the franchise of Miss Earth in Germany. The previous franchise holder, Miss Germany Corporation, wants to focus on the business side of the pageant. Sina appointed Arta as Miss Earth Germany 2014.
Arta has been in the modeling world for seven years prior joining Miss Earth. Being designated as Miss Earth Germany, she says that she wants to use that opportunity to show that she is more than just a pretty face. She wants to use her "brain and personality to create awareness for important issues concerning the environment and the people living in it."
She, being chosen to be Miss Earth Germany 2014, considers as her most memorable moment to date.

By being Miss Earth Germany, Arta flew to the Philippines in November to compete with almost 100 other candidates to be Alyz Henrich's[3][4] successor as Miss Earth.
As a Miss Earth delegate, an environmental advocacy is must. When she was asked about her advocacy for the pageant, she answered solar energy. She also mentions a company named "Care Energy", that produces solar panels to gain solar energy. She wants to promote solar energy in her country and how important to use such as a renewable energy. She partnered with the company to help homeless people in Germany through renewable energy.
Arta was also asked about what she can promote for her country. She answered, "Germany definitely is worth a visit! It offers interesting cultural sights, just as beaches and mountains- it´s the perfect mix! Also, my fellow countrymen are open and kind people. When visiting Germany you also have to try our cuisine! It´s simple but delicious- it has to be a Weißwurst with Brezel if you are in the south, or a Curry Wurst if you are in the north!"
