History

The school was established in 1965 as a kindergarten for children of army personnel serving in the Pakistan Military Academy. In order to meet the increasing demand for education on the base, it was upgraded as primary school, and on 14 March 1984 it was formally inaugurated by Begum (Mrs) Zia-ul-Haq, wife of the military dictator Gen. Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq. In 1996, it was upgraded to SSC level School. In 2006 it was recognized by Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad as an Intermediate College.[3]
