In August 2010 a three-month trial of bus route 529 was announced, linking Armadale with Cockburn Central on the Mandurah Line, commencing 17 October 2010. It was designed to shave up to 45 minutes from the previous travelling time, which involved a round trip via Perth.[1][2] However the service was withdrawn in May 2011, being judged to have attracted insufficient patronage.[3]
