Arjit Taneja

Arjit Taneja is an Indian television actor. He made his acting debut with channel V's popular show The Serial. He was also part of Mtv Splitsvilla 6. He did a cameo role in Bade Acche Lagte Hain. He appears in Zee TV's show Kumkum Bhagya.^[1]

Personal life

Arjit Taneja grew up in Delhi. His father is a lawyer. He has a elder sister. He received a BA in computer programming at University of Delhi.

In November 2010, joined the modelling agency Elite Model Management India Pvt. Ltd. In mid-2012, he moved from Delhi to Mumbai and made his debut on television.

Career

Taneja played a cameo in the series Bade Acche Lagte Hain on Sony Entertainment Television India in September 2013. In December 2012, he got a role in V The Serial on Channel V, where he played actor Karan Kundra's best friend. He also participated in the reality show MTV Splitsvilla, in Season 6.

Since April 2014, Taneja is playing the role of Purab Khanna, parallel lead and one of the protagonists in the TV show Kumkum Bhagya on Zee TV.^[2]Purab Khanna’s love interest in the serial is Bulbul(Mrunal Thakur)^[3]
