ArchDaily is a weblog covering architectural news,[1][2] projects,[3][4] products, events, interviews and competitions,[5] opinion pieces,[6] among others, catering to architects, designers and other interested parties.
Description
ArchDaily is, as of 2014, one of the most visited architecture website worldwide,[7][8][9] with over 300.000 daily readers and about 70 million page views per month.[10] Founded in March 2008 by David Basulto and David Assael, ArchDaily includes three regional websites in Spanish (Plataforma Arquitectura and ArchDaily México) and Portuguese (ArchDaily Brasil).[10] It has a partnership with the Pritzker Architecture Prize[10] and was one of five finalists for the Best Online Magazine prize on Mashable's 2009 Open Web Awards. [11]

The site's editor-in-chief is David Basulto, while David Assael serves as the group's CEO.[10]
Building of the Year Awards
Annually, ArchDaily organizes the Building of the Year Awards.[12] The winners of these awards are chosen by a vote of the 60,000 architects who are members of the site, and the results are widely covered in the media.[13][14]
Building of the Year Awards 2014
The 2014 edition of the Building of the Year Awards included over 3.500 candidate projects in 14 categories. The election of the winners was made in two phases: first a nominating stage selecting 5 finalists for each category from the 3.500 projects pool and then the election of a final winner for each category.
With over 60.000 votes, the 2014 results were as follows:
