Arakht is a village in Badakhshan Province in north-eastern Afghanistan.[1]

It is located between Lake Shiva and the Panj River,[2] at an altitude of 3100m near the Tajikistan border. It lies 3.3 miles from Pish, 2.6 miles from Wishtayn, 3.8 miles from Gordzhak and 6.2 miles from Ghar Javin.

The nearest airport is 9 miles away across the border at Khorog.
