The species of Aquabacterium are motile rod-shaped, gram-negative, oxidase-positive, catalase-negative bacteria which were isolated from drinking water biofilms in Berlin.[1][2] Identified species include Aquabacterium citratiphilum, Aquabacterium parvum and Aquabacterium commune.
