Plot
TV Anchor Christie Copperfield discovers that her fiance Mark planned a surprise for her 40th birthday. However, in private, she admits that she dislikes birthdays because according to her, women have always more trouble with their ages and have difficults to accept that one day, they become old. The next day, Shauna, Christie's best friend and co-worker informs her that she knows a secret which could allow her to stay young forever. Reluctant at first, Christie agrees while seeing that Shauna's birthyear is actually 1939 which means that she is approximately 37 years but looks like she was younger. A delivery man comes to install a water fountain at Christie and Mark's house. When Christie asks him about his age, he replies strangely "don't ask". Christie soon discovers that the water fountain has drawbacks. When she stops drinking, she ages faster. She tries to hide this from Mark, but only manages to ruin the week-end he organized for them. An angry Mark goes to tell Shauna what happened and learns the truth. He tries to reassure Christie about her real age and finally agrees to drink the water too, meaning that he always will support her, whatever she decides.
