Aptilo Networks is a company headquartered in Stockholm Sweden, which produces and markets systems to manage mobile data services for 3G, LTE, WiMAX, Wi-Fi and fixed broadband networks,[1] including mobile data offloading. Aptilo's service management platform controls billing, user services and access within the network.[2] The company offers pre-integrated service management and policy control solutions for service providers requiring a rapidly deployable, scalable multi-service solution in order to easily provision, deliver and manage broadband data services over these networks.

Aptilo Networks is a global supplier of telecommunication solutions and software for telecommunication operators, Wi-Fi and WiMAX providers. The company's product range includes policy control solutions, Radius servers, AAA servers, Hotspot (Wi-Fi) solutions, PCRF servers and Wi-Fi access equipment[4] including Wi-fi calling for Evolved Packet Core networks.[5]

History
In September 2001 Aptilo Networks was founded by members of the former management group for Axis Communications' Mobile Internet division and took over the Mobile Access Server product and its development. In October 2001 Aptilo Networks secured its first large Wi-Fi deployment at Copenhagen Airport. Aptilo has grown rapidly[16] and currently has systems deployed in more than 60 countries by companies such as Batelco, Cablevision, du, Eircom, Qware, Saudi Telecom, Telekom Malaysia, Telecom New Zealand, Telenor and TeliaSonera.[17]
Acquisitions
In January 2011 Aptilo acquired Service Factory, a division of Birdstep Technology.[18]
