Apti Bisultanov (born 1953 in Goychu) is a prominent poet of the Chechen Republic.[1][2] Apti Bisultanov studied philology and worked as a senior lecturer, an editor, a publisher, the Vice-Premier. He was also a guerrilla fighter. For the poem «In Hajbahe written», devoted to victims of Stalin deportation of Chechens, he received the National award (1992). Since 2002 Apti Bisultanov lives in Berlin. He took part in the International literary festival, and receiver a scholarship of Fund of Culture. In 2003 in Rotterdam he received Award of fund Poets of all Nations and N (o) Vib-Verlag.
