Apsny (political party)

Apsny was the main political party in Abkhazia until 2005. Founded as a social movement, it became a political party in February 2001. It elected as its co-chairmen member of the People's Assembly Maia Agrba and Rushni Jopua and as its Executive Secretary Nugzar Agrba.^[1]

On 8 February 2005, along with eleven smaller parties and movements, Apsny was transformed into the Forum for the National Unity of Abkhazia.^[2]
