Apartment 2XL (originally Apartamenti 2XL) is an Albanian comedy show created, produced and moderated by Turjan Hyska. In this show stars Julian Deda, Gentian Zenelaj and Ermal Mamaqi. And other main actors are Albano Bogdo, Lisa Kujofsa, Esmeralda Metka and Eglen Laknori. Starting from the season 6 Ermal Mamaqi does not star but he declared that he will be back on the next season(s). Every episode run 90 minutes and every episode is not related with others. From the start and now the show airs Sundays at 20.45 on Vizion +. Currently is one of the most watched show in Albania and the most liked Albanian TV show on Facebook. Starting from season 6 show airs and for free on YouTube and is worldwide available.
Structure of show
Apartment 2XL is special show because has no scenery. The moderator that is Turjan Hyska tells the actors what are they gonna to do and they create themselves the scenery. The moderator is sitting somewhere in the middle of the public, is prohibited only explain to the protagonists at the beginning of the episode, while later allowed to communicate exclusively through headphones supplied with strange and fantastic suggestions that the protagonists seem to absolute pursue. In most cases orders are individual actors, enabling so that the actors do not know what the order might have given moderator partner, thus creating comic situations. In the public hall of the orders appear on several big screens, while viewers they appear with subtitles below the screen.
