Anuj Sachdeva (born 5 October 1982) is an Indian television actor mostly known for his role in Sabki Laadli Bebo, Phir Subah Hogi, and Chhanchhan. Sachdeva is currently seen in Sony TV's Itti Si Khushi

Personal life

Anuj Sachdeva was born in Delhi.[2] Before his acting career, he was working with his father in his business of manufacturing shoes and other handicrafts.[3] He began his modeling and acting career after his father's insistence.[2]

Anuj is trainned in marital arts for nine years and has a brown belt in Taekwando.

Career

Sachdeva appeared on season 3 of the reality show MTV Roadies before his acting career formally began with a cameo in a 2007 Hindi film Delhii Heights.[2] Following this, he appeared in many commercials working alongside Anushka Sharma.[3] Follow this he made his debut performance as actor in Sabki Laadli Bebo.[2] He later appeared in Zee TV's Phir Subah Hogi where he played the role of Thakur Aditya Singh, the male protagonist.[4] Sachdeva quit the show later that year expressing dislike for the script, Nandish Sandhu was brought in to replace him.[5] Sachdeva then took a break and took up a course at Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York. After returning from New York, Anuj joined Sony TV's Chhanchhan on 6 June 2013 as a replacement for Farhan Khan who had received negative feedback for his portrayal of Manav.[6] Sachdeva is currently seen in Rajan Shahi's new show Itti Si Khushi on Sony TV.[7]
