Antonio Reparaz was born in Cadiz (1831), and death in (1886) was a musician, composer and director Spanish.

Biography

He gained renown as a result of the success of his operas, although other were well-received works. He was direcction of company first time in Santander. After his death, his extensive output was a generally forgotten. His career spanned the majority of the musical areas of the period of the Restoration (1875–1885) Operas Director, reputed orchestral conductor, composer of óperas, zarzuelas, symphonic and chamber music. He went Italy for study and composed Oratio in Rome as one of the works written. He worked in the Theatre San Juan of Oporto, Portugal in the 1870s. There he wrote his four operas with premieres. He was a director of Theatre Real of San Juan since 1872. He wrote songs of Nineteenth-Century Spain, A Mi Nazarena with José zorrilla and El Beso del Poeta. In 1890 his daughter Virginia married with Antonio Videgain and in 1892 was born his grandson Antonio Videgain Reparaz.
