Anthony Laurence Clarke, OAM[1] (born 1961 in Adelaide) is an Australian judoka.
Blind since 17 he became a Paralympic Judo gold medallist in 1996, for which he received a Medal of the Order of Australia,[1] was world blind judo champion (in 1990 and 1998), and was an official torch bearer at the 2000 Summer Olympics.[2][3][4] In 2000, he received an Australian Sports Medal.[5]
He has represented Australia at five Summer Paralympics, from 1992 to 2008, and wrote an autobiographical motivational book titled Achieving the Impossible.[6]
He was an Australian Institute of Sport scholarship holder from 1996 to 2000 in judo.[7]
