Another Cinderella Story is the soundtrack album from the film of the same name. The album was released as a physical CD and digital download on August 26, 2008 by Razor & Tie.[1] The album debuted number eight on the Billboard Top Soundtracks chart and has sold over 1,629,000 copies.[2]

Mark Morton of Allmusic gave a review of the album: "Another Cinderella Story is a dynamic dance and music-filled update of the classic Cinderella fable starring up and coming actress/singer Selena Gomez. The soundtrack is loaded with modern pop and hip hop music, enchanting atmoshere of the film and it's characters. Gomez performs the lead track and smash single "Tell Me Something I Don't Know", as well as three other songs on the album. Co-star and Gomez's film love interest Drew Seeley adds his heart-throb flair to five tracks as well".

"Tell Me Something I Don't Know" is a song performed by Selena Gomez was released as a promotional single on August 5, 2008 on iTunes[5] and a Radio Disney version (which removes the Hurricane Katrina reference) was released on September 9, 2008, on iTunes. The song was also featured on the Kidz Bop 15 CD. A different version of the song, produced by Rock Mafia is featured on Selena Gomez & the Scene's debut album, Kiss & Tell.

Chart performance

The song peaked at number 58 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and at 13 on the Australian Hitseekers Singles chart. As of August 2014, the song has sold 3,000,000 copies in the United States.[6]

Music video

The music video starts with scenes reminiscent of (but not from) the film; Gomez cleaning a house and the maid yelling at her. Gomez then leaves the house and performs a dance routine with her backup dancers, while the maid watches from the house window. The video also features Gomez in front of a black background with lyrics from the song (such as "I'm ready for it" and "One in a million") flying around her.[7] The video was directed by Elliott Lester.
