Anna Rose Menken , known professionally as Anna Rose, is an American singer and composer. She is the daughter of composer Alan Menken.
Biography
Menken was born in New York to composer Alan Menken and Janis Roswick-Menken, a former professional ballet dancer. Anna has a sister, Nora Menken. Menken went to Los Angeles for college, but with five years still to go, she gave up to pursue a musical career. In 2010, she returned to New York to record her first album, Nomad. Nomad was produced by Billy Sullivan and Anna Rose. In 2012 she released her second album, Behold A Pale Horse.
