Anna Therese McVann (born 30 December 1968) is a former competition swimmer who represented Australia at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. At the age of 14, Anna McVann in her first national championships broke a national age record for the 200-metre freestyle event. In 1984 she became the first female to win gold medals in all freestyle events at the Australian Championships.[1] This effort saw her automatically selected for the 1984 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, where she was a finalist in all her events: 200, 400, and 800-metre freestyle and 4x100-metre freestyle relay.[2]

In 2008 McVann was inducted into the SwimmingSA Hall of Fame.[1]
