Anne’s mother was Ann Wyeth McCoy, youngest daughter of illustrator, N. C. Wyeth, and closely tied to Brandywine School approach to art. Her father was John W. McCoy, a student of N. C. Wyeth and son of a vice president of the DuPont Company.[2] She began studying art with her aunt, Carolyn Wyeth at the age of fourteen. She also studied with Charles Vinson. Her uncle Andrew Wyeth and his son and her cousin, Jamie, loomed large in the School. She married Frolic Weymouth, a student of and very close friend to Andrew Wyeth.

Anna B is author of the book, John W. McCoy, American Painter.[3]

She lives in Chads Ford, Pennsylvania and paints the Brandwine Valley. She spends summers in Rockland, Maine.
