Anna-Maria Hallgarn (2006)

Anna-Maria Hallgarn, (born 10 February 1971 in Orrviken, Jämtland) is a Swedish musician, singer and actress.

Her performances include Kharmen at Gothenburg City Theatre (2005),[1][2] Guys & Dolls, at the Göteborg Opera, Gothenburg Sweden (2009), Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar (Malmö Opera and Göta Lejon, 2010-2012),[3][4] the role of the pregnant and stoned Jeanie in Hair at the Stockholm City Theatre (2011), Next to Normal, playing mother Diana, at Wasa teatern, Vasa, Finland (2012), Carmencita Rockfeller - Princess of Japan, at the Göteborg Opera in cooperation with the Malmö Opera and the Helsingborg City Theatre, Sweden (2013),[5] The Last 5 Years, at Åbo Svenska Teater, Finland (2014).

Swedish Dagbladet critic Bo Löfvendahl wrote: "Anna-Maria Hallgarn makes her more and more hollow-eyed revelation of the evening's most heartbreaking, with strong bearing capacity sue."[6]

The board of the Annalisa Ericson Foundation has decided that the Annalisa Ericson Scholarship in 2014 will be awarded to an actress who demonstrates particular talent in song, dance and theater.[7]
