Anka Wachanan (Quechua anka black-chested buzzard-eagle or eagle, wacha birth, to give birth[2][3] -na a suffix, "where the eagle is born", -n a suffix, hispanicized and broken name: Ancapuachanan (which has no meaning in Quechua) instead of Ancahuachanan) is a small lake in the Waytapallana mountain range in Peru. It is located in the Junín Region, Huancayo Province, El Tambo District.[4] Anka Wachanan is situated north of the lake Ch'uspiqucha (Quechua for "fly lake", hispanicized Chuspicocha) and south-west of the mountain Ch'uspi ("fly", Chuspi).
