Anita Ramos Camba (April 13, 1979) is a Filipino television producer, with different backgrounds in broadcasting and TV/video production. Anita is a highly trained multi-tasker, honing skills in writing, directing, shooting, editing, producing and managing informative programs in both news and entertainment programs of New Era Television 25 (Net 25) of Eagle Broadcasting Corporation in the Philippines and the INCTV.[1]

Early life

Born in Casile, Nueva Ecija, Philippines to Ceferino Nilo Ramos and Celedonia Garcia Alcantara, Anita is second to the youngest amongst her 9 siblings. She attended Casile Elementary School in Llanera, Nueva Ecija and later continued her schooling at San Ricardo National High School in Talavera, Nueva Ecija. She earned her degree in Mass Communication at the New Era University in the Philippines in 1998.

Career

Aside from working with top notch journalists, she was also assigned to cover big news events including those of international importance, especially terrorism in the southern part of the Philippines in Mindanao.

In 2006, Anita was part of the core group that created the cultural program Tribe. For more than 2 years, she has produced high-quality documentaries featuring the Filipino people, their lifestyle and values.[1]

Anita was also strongly involved in promoting and marketing Moments, inking deals with the Philippines' most trusted brands as the program's partners like SM Supermalls, Abbot, Baby Company, Smart Parenting Magazine, Hunter Douglas, Ainon and others.

She is a regular Philippine delegate to various workshops and seminars conducted by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union. In December 2010, she was amongst the 13 broadcasters from seven countries in Southeast Asia to be organized by the ABU for UNESCO in Port Dickson, Malaysia, to raise awareness among journalists and the general public on the importance of local and indigenous knowledge in disaster risk reduction, in particular traditional early warning systems.[2]

The highlight of her career in TV started in 2007, when she produced the multi-awarded family show Moments (Talk Show) from Net 25, hosted by Miss Gladys Reyes-Sommereux, one of Philippines' well-known celebrities.[1]

It is under Anita's management that MOMents earned its most significant awards and recognitions from the Southeast Asian Foundation for Children and Television (SEAFCTV), the Philippine Movie and Press Club(PMPC), Department of Education (Philippines) (DepEd), and the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).[3]

Among the notable personalities who guested on MOMents were Miss Lea Salonga, Madame Imelda Marcos, Miss Nora Aunor, Gov. Vilma Santos, Miss Sharon Cuneta, Miss Kris Aquino, Miss Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo, Miss Lorna Tolentino, Miss Maricel Soriano, Miss Dawn Zulueta, Miss Ai-Ai de las Alas, Miss Helen Gamboa-Sotto, Mother Lily Monteverde, Mr. Vic Sotto, Mr. Martin Nievera and Robin Padilla.
