Angel is an American heavy metal band from New York, formed in 1989. The band was founded and guided by Criss Angel during the explosion of hair metal in the late '80s. ^[1] The name was taken once Angel (band) disbanded. Angel (rock band) disbanded when Criss Angel decided to go into the direction of industrial rock and formed Angeldust.
