Anela (Sardinian: Anèla) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sassari in the Italian island region Sardinia, located about 140 kilometres (87 mi) north of Cagliari and about 50 kilometres (31 mi) southeast of Sassari. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 764 and an area of 37.0 square kilometres (14.3 sq mi).[1]
