Dean was on of the youngest candidates to compete on NBC’s The Apprentice and holds the title as the only candidate to be re-hired by Donald Trump to run his production company Trump Productions LLC.[4][5][6][7][8]

During his tenure as host, Dean developed a web business called ConnectPal,[14] a website that allows users to upload and broker content such as audio and video. On July 23, 2014, Dean announced his departure from America Now to focus full time on his technology business. Joe Pagliarulo was designated as interim host, starting August 11, 2014.
