Andy Behrman was born 1962 and is an American writer of non-fiction as well as a mental health advocate and national speaker. He is the author of Electroboy: A Memoir of Mania, a chronicle about his experiences with Manic Depression, published by Random House. Behrman lives with his two daughters in Los Angeles, California. He is working on a sequel to Electroboy, as well as a self-help book for people with manic depression. He graduated from Wesleyan University.
