Andrew Peter Nunn SCP (born 30 July 1957) is a Church of England priest. He has been the Dean of Southwark from 2012.[1]

Early life

Nunn was born in Wigston Magna, Leicestershire. He was educated at Leicester Polytechnic and Leeds University. He studied for ordination at the College of the Resurrection, Mirfield.[2]

Ministry

Nunn was ordained in 1984.[3] He was a curate at St James the Great, Manston, Leeds and then chaplain of Agnes Stewart Church of England High School[4] and curate then vicar at (All Saints') Richmond Hill. From 1995 he was chaplain and personal assistant to Roy Williamson, Bishop of Southwark; and from 1999 sub-dean, precentor and a residential canon at Southwark Cathedral. He is also Rector General of the Society of Catholic Priests and Chaplain General of the Company of Servers.

Nunn is an honorary chaplain of both the Launderers' Company[5] and the Innholders' Company as well as a member of the Glaziers' Company.
