The Andrew Hunter House near Bryant, Arkansas was built in c.1870. Known also as the Hunter-Dearborn House, it is located west of Bryant on Arkansas Highway 5, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.[1]
It was deemed significant for its association with Reverend Andrew Hunter, who was prominent in bringing Methodism to Arkansas. Hunter was born in Ireland and came to Arkansas in approximately 1836.[2]
