Andrew Hall (rugby union)
Andrew Hall is a Scotland international rugby union player. A second row forward, he played for Newport Gwent Dragons until he was released in May 2009. He played for Moseley for the 2009-10 season before taking up the Head Coach role at the Hong Kong Cricket Club.[1] On 20 July 2014, Hall was named interim Head Coach of the Hong Kong national team, for their 2015 Rugby World Cup Repechage qualification match against Uruguay.[2] This came, following the announcement that Leigh Jones had left the team, to take up the role of Defense Coach with the Japanese national team.[3] Despite much belief, Hall led the team to a 28–3 loss to Uruguay thus ending their hopes of their first World Cup. Though originally named as an interim, Hall remained as Head Coach after the 28–3 loss.
