Andrew John Dawber (born 20 November 1994)[3] is an English footballer who is currently without a club having last played for Accrington Stanley, as a goalkeeper.
Born in Wigan, Greater Manchester, Dawber progressed through the Accrington Centre of Excellence before joining the club's academy in 2011.[3] He made his senior debut on 4 September 2012 in the 0–2 defeat to Morecambe in the first round of the Football League Trophy.[4] He was given the Man of the Match award for his performance,[5] and was praised by manager Paul Cook.[6]
In February 2013, Dawber signed a new contract with the club which runs until the summer of 2015.[7]
On 12 August 2013, Dawber joined Northern Premier League side Marine on a month's loan.[8]
In October 2013 Dawber joined another local side Clitheroe on another one-month loan deal.[9]
In September 2014 Dawber rejoined local side Clitheroe on two-month loan deal.[10]
In March 2015 Dawber left Accrington Stanley by mutual consent.[11]
