Andover is a former settlement in Placer County, California.[1] Andover is located on the Southern Pacific Railroad, 11.5 miles (18.5 km) west of Martis Peak.[2] It lay at an elevation of 6302 feet (1921 m).[1]

Andover was named by a railroad official for his hometown of Andover, Massachusetts.[2]
