Plot
Edited in 1969, the novel tells the story of a spy-ship (the Dmitri Kirov) of the Soviet Navy that lands on a small island in the Isles of Scilly. The Soviet government, which does not mean that the ship fell to the British and Americans, has to buy half of the island, which belongs to Albert.
U.S. intelligence services when they discover that part of the island was purchased by the Soviet offer to Albert buying the other half of the island.
Thereafter, in a humorous tone, the author discusses the coexistence between the Russians and the Americans, amid love story, cigarette smuggling and manufacturing and selling adulterated vodka ...
