'An Cumann Craic is the Irish language Society of NUI Galway. Founded in 1993, An Cumann Craic is one of the largest societies in NUI Galway and one of the largest Irish language societies in the country.

The society’s main aim is the promotion of the Irish language on campus. An Cumann Craic also organises nights out every month to encourage the student body to socialise, outside off campus, through the medium of Irish.

One of the main events of An Cumann Craic, is the yearly celebration of Seachtain na Gaeilge, organised with the help of Oifigeach na Gaeilge, NUI Galway Students' Union.

An Cumann Craic was awarded the Best New Entry Award at the Glór na nGael awards in 2011.
