Amy Taubin

Amy Taubin (born 10 September 1939) is an American film critic.[1][2] She is a contributing editor for two prominent film magazines, the British Sight & Sound and the American Film Comment. She has also written regularly for The Village Voice, The Millennium Film Journal, and Artforum, and is formerly, curator of video and film at the non-profit experimental performance space The Kitchen.

Biography and education

Taubin attended Sarah Lawrence College as an undergrad and received an MA from NYU. Besides her work as a film critic, Taubin is also a filmmaker, curator, and educator. She is also one of the people visible in Michael Snow's influential experimental film Wavelength.
