Ampittia capenas, the Riverine Ranger, is a butterfly in the Hesperiidae family. It is found in Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.[2] The habitat consists of the banks of streams and rivers.
Adults are on wing from August to October and from February to April.
