Amlux is an album by the Japanese noise musician Merzbow.[3] The cover depicts the Amlux building in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, which houses a Toyota showroom.
The album was used as source material for the remix album Ikebana: Merzbow's Amlux Rebuilt, Reused and Recycled. A remix by Jack Dangers appears as a hidden on the first pressing of Merzbeat.
"Takemitsu" samples "Kwaidan" and "Water Music", two tape music works by Toru Takemitsu.
