Amiret, Minnesota

Amiret is an unincorporated community in Lyon County, in the U.S. state of Minnesota.^[1]

History

A post office called Amiret was established in 1878, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1992.^[2] Amiret was named for the wife of a railroad official.^[3]
